SEMICONDUCTOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB Description
Job Location: Santa Clara, CA

VISIX LLC a world-class company in both research & development and manufacturing has current opening for Maintenance Technicians. These are intense, hands-on electromechanical technician positions with a heavy emphasis on the electromechanical rather than the process aspect.

Summary

  • Troubleshoot and isolate electronic equipment malfunctions to component level.
  • Perform complex repairs to equipment.
  • Program electronic controllers using ladder logic and C programming languages.
  • Develop equipment design changes and modifications.
  • Perform routine electronic equipment calibration and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to understand and interpret schematics required, including testing of this knowledge.
  • Color coding required.
  • 4+ years relevant experience required.
  • AA/AS degree in a technical field required.

Ideal candidate should have experience in as many as possible areas of the wafer fabrication.

MAINTENANCE TECH 1

  • 4+ years Thin Film CVD
  • 4+ years high vacuum, sputtering equipment maintenance
  • 8+ years Cannon Aligners, electrical/mechanical background
  • 3+ years SPC/CMMS/data collection
  • 3+ years computers
  • 8+ years semiconductor industry
  • 4+ years machining
  • 3+ years SVG Coaters (8000 series or higher)
  • 2+ years LP CVD furnaces
  • 4+ years Diffusion/Oxidation
  • 3+ years RF power supplies, matching networks
